Getting a Little Fresh Air

We decided to take a couple of days and go camping this last weekend. After all the packing, we were finally excited to get going. Dallan had such a great time with his new freedom. He loved roaming around the campground and exploring everything around him. We took a short drive to Mirror Lake and took the long walk all the way around it!!! There aren't a whole lot of things better than being outside in the mountains. I feel so lucky we are only a short drive to the Uintas that we can be so close to the outdoors. It is something I've always enjoyed. It was especially neat watching Dallan and see how excited he was to get in the tent in his little sleeping bag, or throw rocks in the river. Unfortunately we had to cut our little adventure a day short. After many many times of telling Dallan the fire pit was "hot" his little curious mind couldn't resist. He grabbed onto the metal grate and burned his pour hands. They are all blistered as you can see. Little boys just do not learn until they try things themselves. I am constantly learning that everyday. He is feeling much better, but after that little incident you can imagine how we were all feeling - Ready to go Home!
