I have updated my playlist for my sweatheart - Jeremy loves this song! I must say, I like it more and more each time I listen to it. It has such a great message especially this time of year. With thanksgiving around the corner, we are beginning to realize the many blessings we've received this last year. I feel so grateful and these are just a few of the blessings straight from our new favorite "Country Fried!" (You just have to excuse all the "beer drinking on a friday night!!!")
#1: My house is not much to talk about, but it's filled with love
Oh this is so true, our little apartment is not much to talk about, but it is filled with lots of giggles and laughter. It is truly filled with love.
#2: It's the little things in life that mean the most, not where you live, the car you drive, or the price tag on your clothes
A butterfly kiss from a sweet little boy and a wink from my hubby, mean more to me than any amount of money
#3: I thank God for my life
Life is so short, I hope I can live each day with a grateful heart.
#4: For the stars and stripes
I am so so so very grateful for this country we live in, especially for the freedom and liberty we enjoy
#5: The ones that give their lives so we don't have to sacrifice the things we love
I am grateful for the faithful service men and women that give so much in our behalf. I feel blessed that I haven't had to give up the things I love, and I owe so much to these wonderful people.
#6: A pair of jeans that fit just right
This could not be more true today when the pants seem to be shrinking! Those darm jeans, oh, maybe it's the belly that just keeps growing! But seriously - you all know, there aren't too many things better than a pair of jeans that fit perfectly. My sisters and I have had many discussions on this!
#7: The sunrise
Each day is a blessing from our Heavenly Father. I definately don't thank Him enough for the sunrise and the opportunity to be with the ones we love for another day.
#8: The love in my (husband's) eyes
One of the most precious things my dad has ever told me was that I was married to someone who loved me. Jeremy does love me and he shows it to me each day. I just pray he knows the love I have for him.
#9: The touch of a precious child
I cannot express the joy of motherhood. A child brings a joy to your life that none other can bring. I love the touch of my little bug, when he grabs my hand when he wants to play, when he plays with my hair, and when he gives me a hug if he sees even one tear come from my eyes. It is a gift in my life, and I am so very grateful for it.
#10: A mother's love
I am very grateful for a mother's love. I have been blessed with a mother that loves me and cares about all of her family, especially her grandkids. I have to say she really is the best grandma. I don't think I realized the love she has had for us until I became a mom myself. I then knew the sacrifice and time she gave to each us. She is one of the greatest examples of patience and love. I am grateful for her and hope she knows how much I love her!

What a great post! I've heard this song a million times and never really listened to the words. I listened as I read your post. Thanks for the great reminder to slow down and think about all we've been blessed with!
