Busy Days

The past few weeks have been so busy that the time just slips by. Here is what we've been up to lately:
Minnesota
Last week we took a week and visited family in Minnesota. I brought my camera with me and how often did I use it? not once. :( I am now regretting it because I have no pictures to show you!
We had a good time spending the week with Grandpa and Grandma, Stephanie and Kourtney and all the other many visitors!!! When we arrived at the airport, Dallan spotted Grandpa and Grandma right away, ran right to them and the rest is history. There was not much to do with mom and dad after that! A few of Jeremy's cousins came over so it was fun to see them and visit. The guys had a relaxing weekend in front of the television screen playing the wii. I'm sure they all had to go home and ice their pore arms for a couple days. The only thing that got them off the couch was beakfast, lunch, oh and dinner! The rest of us just enjoyed each others company and visited.
Sugar Cookies
Dallan was such a big helper making sugar cookies the other day - if you no what I mean. He just wanted to get right in there and do it all himself! Here are some cute pictures of him mixing the dough, taste testing, rolling dough into balls, taste testing, rolling the balls in sugar, and yes taste testing again!

Playdough

I decided to make up a batch of playdough today for my little guy and let him have some fun making a mess! We had a fun time - well worth the time of making it. I had never made playdough before and this recipe was really quite easy and it turned out great. Any of you moms want to try it out - here it is:

2 Cups Flour
½ Cup Salt
3 TBLS Cream of Tartar
2 TBLS Oil
2 Cups Water
Food Coloring
Mix the dry ingredients; add oil, water and food coloring. Mix until only small lumps remain. Pour into pan over medium heat. Cook and sitr constantly until dough lumps together in a big ball. Knead until smooth. (I only made one batch and divided it into three to make the three different colors)

This is what Dallan thought after he ate some of the playdough!

A couple of Dallan's creations:

Isn't this little puupy cute- Dallan gave him an eye so he could see and made him a little blankie to keep him warm!

This is Dallan's snake - he was pretty proud of it - if you can't tell by that cheesy grin!

I don't know who had more fun - Mommy or Dallan!
