I have been meaning to post more pictures and write about this new little babe - but every minute I have a chance - I'd much rather hold her! We have certainly enjoyed having Paisley in our family. It feels so new, yet feels like she has been in our family forever.
The delivery was great. I was induced at 8:30 in the morning and she was born at 11:46. It was a quick and easy delivery. It was a much different experience being able to get ready before going into the hospital and just walking in ready to have a baby. It didn't feel right in a way - it seemed as though it should have been a lot more chaotic!
Grandpa and Grandma Nyberg brought Dallan up to see his new little sister and he immediately got a grin on his face. It was such a special moment to see them together. Dallan wanted nothing to do with me at the hospital. I suppose it had to do with the strange bed, clothes, and hospital equipment. It wasn't until that night that he would finally sit up on the bed with me.

Jeremy was proud of his little princess. That night he went to get me some yummy dinner and brought Paisley back a couple of cute outfits. She was too tiny to fit into anything I brought for her to wear, so Daddy gladly went shopping for her. She will be one daddy's girl, that's for sure!
We had so many wonderful visitors at the hospital. Both of our parents were able to be at the hospital when she was born. Jeremy's parents stayed with us for a week and spoiled us. They helped me out so much, especially because Jeremy had to go back to work. We feel blessed to have such wonderful family so willing to help us out. Thank you everyone! (hugs and kisses!)

Dallan loves every minute of it and has been such a good big brother. Every chance he gets he wants to hold his little sister and each morning greets her by saying"good morning sunshine." Paisley still has no name when it comes to her big brother. When asked what her name is he tells everyone her name is baby sister.
I feel I have adjusted well and feel great. I love being at home with my two babes! They are so much fun and although it's busy - I love it!

2 Week Appointment
Weight: 6 lbs 7 oz. 10 percentile
Length: 19 inches 15 percentile
Although she is just a tiny thing - she is growing so well. She's gained 10 oz. since her one week appointment.
Because I can't resist:
While I was feeding Paisley, Jeremy asked Dallan what mommy was doing. Dallan then replied, "Mommy's cookin!" I just got the biggest kick out of that!
Then while shopping with Jeremy's parents, Grandpa was holding Paisley and Dallan asks him, "Papa, you cookin?" - so funny!
