Waterski Days

We finally made it out to Minnesota this summer. After a quick 19 hour car ride with two kids, we made it to Grandpa and Nana's house. The kids were suprisingly great in the car, we couldn't have asked for a better car ride. Dallan loves to look out the window, much like his daddy. Each little town we drove through Dallan would point out the window and say "Nana's house! We made it!" Little did he know, it would take all afternoon, night, and the next morning to finally get to Nana's. Paisley was a good girl as well. As long as she was fed, she was a happy little thing.

Lake City, Minnesota is the "birthplace of waterskiing." It's right on the Mississippi and they have a weekend called Waterski days. They have a carnival, parade, and waterski show, and concerts/bands every night. It is a fun weekend with lots to do!We had to hit the carnival very first. I am not much for Carnival rides, so Kourtney and Grandpa had to take Dallan on all the rides!Getting Grandpa's truck nice and shiny for the parade!Waiting for the parade to startDallan has such a good looking daddy! Watching the Waterski show! It is the same year after year, but always fun to see the skiers do their tricks. You will also notice that both of the kids are asleep in the stroller, it doesn't get much better than that!!!
