We have finally went camping as a family this summer. It has been so busy that we never made it out until now. We all loved the fresh air and being up in the mountains. We camped in the Uintas, about 40 miles from town. It was a perfect weekend - no rain, and it wasn't too hot. The pictures pretty much sum up the trip but I'll recap a little bit of what we did. 
Dallan was a big helper setting up the tent.
Jeremy, Dallan, and Paisley went for a walk and picked some beautiful flowers for me. They are always doing sweet things for me. Where was I when the three of them went walking, um... taking a nap! I have such a sweet husband!
Paisley was a tropper. She slept so good at night and loved being outside just as much as the rest of us. 
We camped right by along the river. Dallan spent most of his time splashing and throwing rocks in the water.
Besides hanging out around the campground, we took a short drive to Mirror Lake. We decided we would hike around the lake. Not even 10 minutes into the hike, Dallan tripped over a rock so we ended up carrying him and Paisley the entire way. It's not terribly long, but it sure seems like it when you are carrying two kids around! It is very pretty around the lake, but we were glad to back to the car. We also drove to the Provo falls. Dallan loves watching the water falls.
We decided to drive to Kamas and get some pizza before heading home. Jeremy would go to this little pizza restaurant on his mission, so it was fun to see it and be there as a family. It's always hard to go home after camping. We love being outdoors.

Megan loved all your pictures, I would like a copy of them. They are all so cute.
This looks like so much fun. I think sometime when we are there we need to take a night and do this! I dont know what papa would think but he would survive! Papa and Steph could get a motel room. (haha) Nana and Kourt would love it.
