Another Month

Has another month really gone by? Paisley is now five months old and there is still no hair on her sweet head to speak of! Paisley is getting quite a personality on her and loves attention. She does not like being left alone for even a minute, which doesn't leave me time to do much but hold and talk to her. She has been such a good sleeper, but the last few nights she has been waking up at 3:00 in the morning and wants to play. As much as I hate waking up in the middle of the night, it's kind of a fun time for her and I to cuddle. She's getting so close to sitting up all on her own, but is still a little shaky. Paisley also has to have something in her mouth at all times to bite and chew. I don't think it will be too much longer before we see a little white tooth in that mouth. Who really knows though, it always seems like they should be close to getting a tooth and it still doesn't come for months! Teething is just something to blame all the fussies on!

On to the wild boy... he is the life of our home! It amazes me to see the many things he has learned and accomplished the last few months. Day by day it doesn't seem to change much, but as I look back I am astonished at what a smart little boy he has become. He has an INCREDIBLE memory, and will bring something up days even months later. He can count up to twenty, knows all his ABC's, and can sing lots of different primary and nursery rhyme songs. The only problem is he is shy and doesn't like to share his cute little talents with everyone. I really only get to hear all the numbers, alphabet, or songs if I'm listening outside his bedroom.

Here's a little bit of what's we've been working on:

I Hope They Call Me on a Mission, the Pledge of Allegiance, First Article of Faith, and the First Presidency and 12 Apostles

My little boy is a character. When he gets to watch a little tv, he does it in style. Pull up his rocking chair, get a gallon of milk (learned this from his daddy, mommy gets a little mad!), put your feet up, and enjoy the show. He's going to need glasses before he starts kindergarten I'm afraid.

Love him!
