The American Heritage Center is full of fun things to do during the fall. Dallan loved every minute of it, even if it was a little cold. He loved feeding and chasing the chickens, petting the goats, riding in the wagon, the train, and riding the pony. He liked the hay slide and the big hay jump as long as he was with daddy. The minute I wanted to do something with him, he'd chicken out. He has to be tough for dad! We went through the corn maze and Dallan was our little map reader. He was so proud of that map, all he needed was Dora and Boots to come along!! After we got through the corn maze, Dallan rode the pony. He was so excited to get on the horse, but didn't want anyone to know it! He tried hiding his little grin, and wanted to look like a tough guy riding the horse all by himself. He looked so cute with his helmet on and saddled up! I think I emarrassed him (and daddy) because I couldn't believe he could ride it alone without being buckled up or something! Don't they make seatbelts for horses? Jeremy told me to never ask things like that out loud!!
