Our poor little Dallan has been having a rough few days. Jeremy has been working the night shift, so he leaves at 5 p.m. and gets home at 7 a.m. Dallan cries and cries for his Daddy after he leaves each day, and has been waking up in the middle of the night, sad as can be, saying"Daddy, bye bye. Daddy, bye, bye." It really breaks Jeremy's heart. This morning, he heard Jeremy get home and yelled "Dad." Jeremy came and gave him a hug, and Dallan held him so tight and honestly didn't let go of him for 20 minutes. They have a "Like Father, Like Son" relationhip. Dallan wants to do everything his Daddy does. I hope Jeremy knows he is the best daddy, and Dallan loves every minute he is with him. Dallan would really love it if Daddy was home with him all day instead of mom! We love you daddy!
The other day my mom taught Dallan the word "Wal-Mart." Oh no! Any of you that don't know, Jeremy's dad has a local grocery store back in Minnesota, so you could understand how they feel about Wal-Mart (it could be considered a swear word). The word is never spoken in their home!!!! When my mom taught this lovely word to Dallan I said to Jeremy "You will never guess what my mom taught Dallan!" Jeremy said "We've got to fix this" so he decided to teach him another lovely word: "hate." Now Dallan says "I hate Wal-Mart."

Hi Megan,
I was wondering what part of Wyoming you live in. On my blog, Get off your Butt & bake, it shows Casper, WYoming. I have a sister & Brother in Law who live in Casper. I'm also from Wyoming, so just wondering. Your little guy is so darling! Potty training...oh how I remember that! I'm sure glad that someone uses the recipes I post.
Oh my heck that is the cutest thing I've ever seen! Dallan is getting so big and so cute!
