a potty training kind of day...

We have been trying to get Dallan used to the potty. He has been really good about it and actually enjoys sitting on his little toilet. We have a little routine that after he goes, we take the little bowl to the toilet and he gets to flush it down. This morning he went potty and we did the little celebration and applause. Well, Ethan needed a little attention at the moment so I went to the living room to attend him. A few minutes later, My sweet little Dallan runs down the hallway into the living room saying "YAAAAAAAAAAY"... still celebrating! Little did I know he was carrying the little potty bowl -- empty! Where did it all go? Thank goodness he made it into the bathroom, but very little to none made it to the toilet... halfway on the toilet seat... the rest on the bathroom floor! I know this is just the beginning of the potty training nightmares! I couldn't get mad at him, after all, he was just trying to be a good boy and clean up after himself! What a sweetheart!
