Thankful Tree (week 2)

My legs - We did a lot of jumping, bouncing, running, and walking today. (yes, I even let him jump on is bed - shhh!)

My family - We played a few games as a family before daddy had to go to work

My books - We took a trip to the library to read stories and check out some books

My daddy - Dallan spent the night doing something special with dad - a Utah State hockey game

My body - We went swimming today

My mommy - Dallan did something nice for mommy today - he fed sister her yogurt, and did a good job at it!

My teachers - Dallan helped me make some treats and he drew some pictures for all of his nursery teachers - Brother Barker, Sister Jeni, and Sister Betty. Jeremy took us around to deliver them all. Dallan loved taking these treats around and visiting. I love to see him serve and hope he will always love to serve the people around him. I hope we can teach him the importance of service and the joys that come from it. That next week, one of Dallan's teachers, "Sister Betty" came to church. We hadn't seen her for months before. Now I can't say this made her come to church, but I would like to think it helped her a little knowing that she was missed by a little boy. Dallan sure likes her.

I'm really proud of you Dallan. You touch the hearts of everyone around you through your sweet personality. Always try to show love to those around you and pray to your Heavenly Father to show you who is in need of your service and love. Your dad and I love you.

After these two weeks, life has just started getting a little crazy with the holidays just around the corner. We did do more of our little activities but just never got around to taking pictures of them. Some of the things we did were:

We called Nana's and Papa's to tell them we love them and are grateful for them. We cleaned out the car, cleaned our house, and picked up our toys because we are grateful for these things. Dallan helped my fold his clothes and put them away, and we went for a walk to look at the many things God created for us to enjoy on this beautiful Earth. These are just a few of the things we are grateful for and I hope it just helped Dallan realize a few of his many blessings, especially because they are things we take for granted each and every day.
