This month, I've really wanted to teach Dallan how blessed he is and how to be grateful for all he has. Now, he's only two, so he doesn't understand completely, but I still enjoy doing our little "thankful" activity every day. He gets to pick a card off the tree, it says something we should be thankful for and an activity to go along with it.

Here is a little bit of what we did for Week One:
1. Cousins- Dallan wrote letters to his cousins that live out of town
2. Teeth- Dallan gave me a piece of his Halloween candy, and went to brush his teeth
3. Ears- We listened to music all day
4. Heavenly Father- We said a little prayer thanking Heavenly Father for all he blesses us with, Grandpa's and Grandma's, Daddy and Mommy, sister, our home, our car, friends, and teachers, and of course his toys. He then drew a picture of some of those things.
5. My sister- Dallan loves his sister and helped mommy feed her a bottle.
6. Food- We made some peanut butter cookies (daddy's favorite)!
7. My eyes- I made some popcorn and Dallan and Paisley had a special movie night!

Okay, so you get the award for the best mommy! I love this idea and think I am going to steal it for the next few weeks. My kids LOVED getting Dallan's letter in the mail. Casey slept with it that night. So cute...oh and I love love love Paisley's costume. You need to bring it this weekend so I can see her in it. Love it!
