One Month Old

Why is it that when you are pregnant the months just drag on, but once this little baby finally comes the days fly by? Our little Paisley bug is now one month old and there just aren't enough hours in a day. We love having her in our family.

Here are a few things about our little princess the last month:

1. She loves her warm baths, that is until Dallan rubs soap all over her with his cold hands. He is a big helper.

2. She has gone from being awake three hours out of the day period to being awake about three hours at a time. This has been quite the adjustment, especially because she has to be held at all times. She knows the second you put her down and will cry until someone picks her up. This doesn't allow me to get a whole lot done during the day. She's a little stinker sometimes!

3. She is very tolerant of her big brother as he pokes at her cheeks all day.

4. We love the random smiles she gives.

5. She is not a big fan of the binkie. I still force it once in awhile!

6. She has really improved on holding her head up by herself. She moves her head all around to look at everything around her.

7. She loves to be wrapped up in her blankies all nice and tight and has to have at least one hand up by her face.

I have been so anxious to see how much Paisley weighs that I decided to put her on our Wii balance board to weigh her (we don't have a scale at home - too depressing!!!) It looks like she weighs about 7 1/2 lbs. She is wearing newborn size clothing, but fitting into some 0-3 month. She is a little squirt, but I'm still amazed how much she's grown the last month. Here is the proof: She's gone from the preemie onsie to the newborn outfit in one very short month!

We love you Paisley!
