Weekend with Grandpa & Grandma

Jeremy's family came down for Paisley's blessing and spent a few days at our house. It was so much fun to have them with us. We are so grateful for them, that they sacrifice their time to come see us.

Dallan had a blast as usual, and I am sure Paisley loved all the attention! They are two lucky kids to have such wonderful grandparents and fun aunts!

Monday we took a trip down to Salt Lake to the zoo. We all learned a little too much about animals and their bad habits I'm afraid!!! When I talk to Dallan about the zoo, the one thing he remembers is that the "Monkey eat the poop!" He loved the carousel ride, but refused to ride on any animal, instead he made Grandpa sit on the chair with him for the ride.Of course we had to stop by the temple and see all the beautiful flowers. It is so pretty there with the all the different tulips. It was a special time for us to be there with our family. Before we left for Salt Lake, Jeremy's parents noticed there was an old steam engine that came through town. They thought we should take Dallan to go see it since he likes trains so much. We waited about a half hour to see it leave town and boy was it worth it (never thought I would say something like that)! I have never seen Dallan's face light up like it did as the train started moving down the track. It is really neat to see him get so excited about something so simple.

Phil and Lori- Thankyou for coming and especially for all your help this past weekend. I am so blessed to have such great in-laws. It gets harder and harder each time we have to say goodbye. It broke my heart to see Dallan so sad after you left. He misses you so much! We love you and can't wait to come see you next month! Six weeks to go!
