I have been delaying this post, because I just cannot express the gratitude I feel and the overwhelming love I have for my mom. She was diagnosed with Lymphoma Cancer last November and started her treatments of chemotherapy and radiation starting December. After a very long winter and spring, my mom is now cancer free. She has been such an example of strength, love, patience, and joy as she faced this trial. Through all the hard days, she truly showed each one of us how much she loved and cared for us. I feel so much joy and gratitude to my Father in Heaven.

My dad and two younger brothers cannot go unnoticed. They took care of my mom each and every day. They went to the treatments, took care of the house, and comforted her on the most challenging days. My heart is so full of gratitude for them. I just cannot thank you guys enough.
I love the next two pictures. They show the joy we all felt as we watched and walked with my mom. I love to look at the smile on her face, she has such a glow about her.
This picture of my mom and Kenzie just sums up the experience. This is exactly how I felt that day. I just wanted to run up to my mom, give her a big hug, and tell her how much I love her.
Mom- you are amazing. I love you, and I am so proud of you.

I am pretty sure they are watching me stirke out!! This was only the first game of the night out of four. We started playing around 8:00 that night and played until about 5:00 in the morning. By the last game I think most of us were secretly hoping we'd lose so we'd be done, but at the same time who likes to lose??! It was a blast, I can't wait for next year!
